17/11/2014 : €18,795 sanctioned by Minister of State for Gaeltacht Affairs, Joe McHugh T.D., for Ionad Pobail Chnoc Fola

Monday, 17th November 2014—Minister of State for Gaeltacht Affairs, Joe McHugh T.D., today announced that he has sanctioned a grant of €18,795 for Coiste Forbartha Chnoc Fola in order to fix the issues with echoes in the community centre.

Announcing the grant, Minister of State McHugh said that he was pleased to be in a position to provide this grant to Coiste Forbartha Chnoc Fola to carry out this work. “This is a strong Gaeltacht area and many positive activities are carried out in this Centre,” said the Minister of State. “The Centre is also used during the summer months by The Irish College, ‘An Chéad Ghlúin eile’, which contributes to the local economy.”
