20/04/2015 : €2,400 sanctioned by Minister of State McHugh for Muintearas Teo

20th April 2015—Minister of State for Gaeltacht Affairs, Joe McHugh T.D., has announced that he has sanctioned a grant of €2,400 for Muintearas Teo to assist them in providing the Coder Dojo Association’s Pilot Programme in Irish in the Donegal and Galway Gaeltacht areas.

The Minister of State said that he hopes this grant will help Muintearas with their efforts to keep the Irish language to the fore amongst young people and that it will spark an interest in pupils and parents alike in technology through Irish.
