Grant of €1,466 sanctioned by Minister of State McHugh for Lámha Beaga Montessori, Co. Donegal, to purchase educational materials

Joe McHugh T.D., Government Chief Whip and Minister of State for the Irish Language, the Gaeltacht and the Islands, announced today that he has sanctioned a grant of €1,466 for Lámha Beaga Montessori, located in Machaire Rabhartaigh, to assist them with the purchase of educational material.

Announcing the grant, the Minister of State said that he was very pleased to provide this grant. “Practical help is being provided in this case which will benefit those attending the preschool. Extra opportunities for language acquisition will be made available as a result.”

This grant is being sanctioned under the action area: The Gaeltacht as part of the 20-Year Strategy for the Irish Language 2010-2030.
