€22,341 sanctioned by Minister of State for the Gaeltacht, Joe McHugh T.D., for Acadamh na hOllscolaíochta Gaeilge  

 

Minister of State for the Gaeltacht, Joe McHugh, T.D., announced today that he has sanctioned a grant of €22,341 for Acadamh na hOllscolaíochta Gaeilge for the development and systemisation of the telecommunications infrastructure in its Gaeltacht centres in Gaoth Dobhair, an Ceathrú Rua and Carna.

Announcing the grant, Minister of State McHugh said that he is very pleased to be in a position to provide such a grant for An tAcadamh: “This grant will give An tAcadamh the opportunity to develop the telecommunications system so that it will be the first stop for language immersion programmes in the country.”
