€33,480 sanctioned for Muintearas Teo., Co. Donegal by Minister of State McHugh

 

The Minister of State for Gaeltacht Affairs, Joe McHugh T.D., announced today that he has sanctioned a grant of €33,480 for Muintearas Teo., Gaoth Dobhair, Co. Donegal, to purchase a van. The van will be used by Naíolann Ghaoth Dobhair and other organisations in the area which help to promote the Irish language.

Announcing the grant, Minister of State McHugh said “Muintearas and Naíolann Ghaoth Dobhair are doing excellent work in promoting the Irish language, especially among young people and through the support they provide to Gaeltacht families raising their children through Irish. I am delighted to be in a position to sanction this grant.”
