€33,600 sanctioned for Oidhreacht Chorca Dhuibhne by Minister of State Kyne

Minister of State for Gaeltacht Affairs, Seán Kyne T.D., today announced that he has sanctioned a grant of €33,600 for Oidhreacht Chorca Dhuibhne to enable them to employ an Irish Language Coordinator for Pobalscoil Chorca Dhuibhne.

Announcing the grant, the Minister of State said: “Pobalscoil Chorca Dhuibhne has an important influence on the preservation and promotion of the Irish language. The support being provided by them and my Department, and the progress being made by them, is in line with the goal of my Department under the 20-Year Strategy for the Irish Language,” Minister of State Kyne said.
