€6,634 sanctioned by Minister of State for Gaeltacht Affairs, Joe McHugh T.D., for Cumann Lúthchleas Gael Carna/Caiseal

Minister of State for Gaeltacht Affairs, Joe McHugh T.D., today announced that he has sanctioned a grant of €6,634 for Cumann Lúthchleas Gael Carna/Caiseal to enable them to purchase certain equipment.

Announcing the grant, Minister of State McHugh said, “Participation in sport is a valuable asset in a person’s social, personal and emotional development. It is also important that we lay the foundation to give everyone a chance to take part in some kind of sport everywhere in the country. I’m pleased, therefore, to provide this grant to CLG Carna/Caiseal in recognition of their excellent work in youth development in particular.”
