€7,600 sanctioned for An Crann Óg in Gaoth Dobhair by Minister of State McHugh

Friday, 27th February—The Minister of State for Gaeltacht Affairs, Joe McHugh T.D., announced today that he has sanctioned a grant of €7,600 for An Crann Óg, based in Gaoth Dobhair, to release a cd of music.

Announcing the grant, Minister of State McHugh said that he is delighted to provide this grant. “An Crann Óg have made a name for themselves in recent years because of the quality of their music and their promotion of traditional music. This new cd will give people a chance to listen to their music and will surely encourage An Crann Óg to continue with their excellent work,” said the Minister of State.
