€8,000 sanctioned by Minister of State McHugh for Coláiste Ghobnatan, Co. Cork  

 

Minister of State for Gaeltacht Affairs, Joe McHugh, T.D., has announced that he has sanctioned a grant of €8,000 for Coláiste Ghobnatan to enable them to purchase equipment.

Minister of State McHugh said ‘This school is doing wonderful work in the promotion of the Irish language in particular. This equipment will benefit not only the school but the entire area and it will be available for community events with emphasis on the Irish language outside of school hours. I’m delighted to assist them and I wish them all the best in their endeavours.’
