Culture 2025 Workshop Illustrations

19/10/2015

The Minister for Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht, Heather Humphreys TD, launched a major cultural workshop in Dublin on Monday 19th October in the Royal Hospital Kilmainham, which is being held as part of the consultation process for the development of Culture 2025, Ireland’s first national cultural policy. The workshop was also be addressed by Ruth Mackenzie, who served as an adviser to five cultural secretaries under the Tony Blair and Gordon Brown governments in the UK, and acted as Director of the Cultural Olympiad, the cultural festival which ran concurrently to the London 2012 Olympic Games. The workshop followed a World Café model built on interactive participation with illustrators Philip Barret and Fintan Taite to hand to capture some of the themes emerging.  These are some of the illustrations from that workshop.
