Ministers Humphreys and Hayes publish Deer Management report and launch Irish Deer Management Forum
Wednesday, 4th March 2015—Ms. Heather Humphreys T.D., Minister for Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht and Mr. Tom Hayes T.D., Minister of State at the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine today published the report Deer Management in Ireland – A Framework for Actionand also announced the membership of the Deer Management Forum.
The National Parks and Wildlife Service of the Department of Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht, the Forest Service of Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine and Coillte, together with relevant stakeholders, have been working on policy recommendations relating to deer conservation and management.
