Temporary Seasonal Posts based at Glenveagh National Park
The National Parks and Wildlife Service of the Department of Arts, Heritage, Regional, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs is looking for enthusiastic people for the forthcoming 2017 visitor season to fill the following vacancies:
- Temporary Bus Driver (rate of salary is €540.55 p/w before tax – GO Band 2)
- Temporary Education Guide (rate of salary is €419.29 p/w before tax)
- Temporary Horticultural Assistant (rate of salary is €419.29 p/w before tax)
- Temporary Visitor Guide (rate of salary is €419.29 p/w before tax)
Duties will vary depending on the role. The rate of remuneration may be adjusted from time to time in line with Government pay policy. For more information, please refer to the links below. These are temporary appointments which may arise in 2017. The posts will be based at Glenveagh National Park. Staff are required to work 39 hours per week, rostered five days over seven which may include weekends and bank holidays.
Appointees will be chosen by competitive interview. A panel of suitable candidates may also be formed should any additional vacancies arise in the foreseeable future.
