Permanent Head Gardener
The National Parks and Wildlife Service of the Department of Arts, Heritage, Regional, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs invites applications from suitably qualified candidates who are interested in working as a Head Gardener in Killarney National Park.
This is a permanent position in which the successful candidate will lead a team in the management and cyclical maintenance of the gardens of Killarney National Park.
This is a full time position (39 hours per week) working five working days out of seven per week which may include weekends and bank holidays. Occasional evening and early morning work may also be required.
The Head Gardener salary starts at €820.77 per week before tax. The rate of remuneration may be adjusted from time to time in line with Government pay policy.
Appointees will be chosen by competitive interview. A panel of suitable candidates may also be formed should any additional vacancies arise in the foreseeable future.
