23/10/2014 €25,000 sanctioned by Minister of State for Gaeltacht Affairs, Joe McHugh T.D., for Baile Bhuirne Cultural Centre in Co. Cork
Minister of State for Gaeltacht Affairs, Joe McHugh T.D., has announced that he has sanctioned a grant of €25,000 for Baile Bhuirne Cultural Centre for the period November 2014 to 30 October 2015.
Announcing the grant, the Minister of State said that he was delighted to be able to provide such a grant to Baile Bhuirne Cultural Centre again this year for the excellent work they do in providing classes, concerts, exhibitions and visual arts workshops to the community of Múscraí. “The Cultural Centre has a central and continuing role in the promotion of the arts and in awakening an interest in the arts among the community and we are indebted to them and to the teachers employed by them as there is clearly a valuable outcome to their work,” the Minister of State said.
