A grant increase of €5,739 sanctioned for Maigh Cuilinn Handball Club for essential safety works

Joe McHugh T.D., Government Chief Whip and Minister of State for the Irish Language, the Gaeltacht and the Islands, announced today that he has sanctioned a grant increase of up to €5,739, or 60%, for Maigh Cuilinn Handball Club to help them put the finishing touches to the work for which the original grant of €17,100 was sanctioned in 2016, by carrying out essential safety works.

As he made the announcement, the Minister of State said “I am pleased to announce this grant because the Club is doing excellent work, operating through Irish and catering to people of all ages.”

This funding is being provided under the 20-Year Strategy for the Irish Language 2010-2030.
