The Department is committed to programme evaluation and project appraisal in order to provide assurance that it is achieving value for money across the range of its activities. It undertakes value for money reviews, focused policy assessments and a Quality Assurance Programme as part of its commitment to conduct its work in accordance with Ireland’s Public Spending Code.
