€25,806 grant sanctioned by Minister of State McHugh for CLG Carna/Caiseal, Connemara, Co. Galway to enable them to carry out improvement and safety works on the carpark of CLG Carna/Caiseal
Joe McHugh T.D., Government Chief Whip and Minister of State for the Irish Language, the Gaeltacht and the Islands, announced today, 6 July, that he has sanctioned a grant of €25,806 for CLG Casla/Caiseal to enable them to carry out improvement and safety works on the carpark of CLG Carna/Caiseal.
Announcing the grant, Minister of State McHugh said that he was pleased to be in a position to help CLG Carna/Caiseal in delivering this project. “CLG Carna/Caiseal provide first-class facilities to the local community. I understand the importance of the proposed work from a safety perspective.”
This grant is being sanctioned under the Gaeltacht area for action of the 20-Year Strategy for the Irish Language 2010-2030.
