08/05/2014: Minister Deenihan announces Direct Grant Aid Programme of €75,500 under the Government Policy on Architecture 2014.
Minister for Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht, Mr Jimmy Deenihan, T.D. today (8th May 2014), announced the awarding of direct grant aid to 8 projects in 2014 which will support and complement the Actions of the Government Policy on Architecture 2009-2015.
The Minister stated:
“I am pleased to announce that I am in a position to provide funding again in 2014 through my Department’s Government Policy on Architecture implementation programme. The Government Policy on Architecture places an emphasis on sustainable development of the environment and urban design, incorporates architectural heritage in a holistic integrated manner, and encourages and supports high quality modern architecture.”
