Grant of €19,113 sanctioned by Minister of State McHugh for Scoil Pobail Mhic Dara, to carry out renovation works on the multi-functional hall of the school
Joe McHugh T.D., Government Chief Whip and Minister of State for the Irish Language, the Gaeltacht and the Islands, announced today, 2 May 2018, that he has sanctioned a grant of €19,113 for Scoil Phobail Mhic Dara to enable them to carry out renovation works on the multi-functional hall of the school.
Announcing the grant, Minister of State McHugh said that he was pleased to be in a position to help the Board of Management of the school in delivering this project. “The result of this work will be for the benefit of the community and of the school. This school hall is a fantastic facility that is being made available not only for the school children, but also to clubs, Irish language colleges and Acadamh na hOllscolaíochta.
This grant is being sanctioned under the Gaeltacht action as part of the 20-Year Strategy for the Irish Language 2010-2030.
