Grant of €2,431 sanctioned by Minister of State McHugh for Coiste Forbartha an Fháil Charraigh, Co Donegal to resurface a walkway in Eastáit Bhaile Chonaill
Joe McHugh T.D., Government Chief Whip and Minister of State for the Irish Language, the Gaeltacht and the Islands, announced today, that he has sanctioned a grant of €2,431 for Coiste Forbartha an Fháil Charraigh, which is situated in An Fál Carrach.
Making the announcement, the Minister of State said that he was very pleased to provide this funding. “When the work has been completed, locals and visitors alike will be able to avail of a safe facility. It will give people a chance to go walking or running in a suitable and safe place, and also to meet up and chat in Irish.”
This grant is being sanctioned under the Gaeltacht action of the 20-Year Strategy for the Irish Language 2010-2030.
