Grant of up to €7,040 for Comharchumann Cheann Caslach, Kincaslough, Co. Donegal to install emergency lights and fire alarms

Joe McHugh T.D., Government Chief Whip and Minister of State for the Irish Language, the Gaeltacht and the Islands, announced today, 21 September, that he has sanctioned a grant of €7,040 for Comharchumann Cheann Caslach, to enable them to install emergency lights and fire alarms in Halla Mhuire.

Announcing the grant, Minister of State McHugh said that he was pleased to be in a position to help the committee in delivering this project. “This active group is doing wonderful work catering for the local community. From a safety perspective, this grant content is particularly important so that the committee can continue to hold events in the hall.”

The grant is being sanctioned under Action 2.13 of the Government’s Action Plan 2018-2022 for the Irish language.
