Permanent Education Guide Wicklow Mountains National Park
The National Parks and Wildlife Service of the Department of Arts, Heritage, Regional, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs is looking for suitably qualified candidates in Wicklow Mountains National Park:
- Education Guide (rate of salary is €419.29 p/w before tax)
The post will be based at Wicklow Mountains National Park, Glendalough, Co. Wicklow. Staff are required to work 39 hours per week, rostered five days over seven which may include weekends and bank holidays.
The rate of remuneration may be adjusted from time to time in line with Government pay policy. A different rate will apply where the appointee is a civil or public servant recruited before 6th April, 1995, and who is not required to make a Personal Pension Contribution. An appointee will be chosen by competitive interview. A panel of suitable candidates may also be formed should any additional vacancies arise in the foreseeable future.
Please note that experience of working with children and knowledge of the flora and fauna of Wicklow are essential for this role.
Please note that a full, clean driver’s licence is desirable.
