Permanent Supervisor Guide, Ballycroy National Park, Co. Mayo
The National Parks and Wildlife Service of the Department of Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht is looking for suitably qualified candidates to form panels from which current/future vacancies in the following position may be filled:
- Permanent Supervisor Guide (rate of salary €652.93 [Non-PPC rate] p/w before tax)
This is a permanent post based at Ballycroy National Park, Co. Mayo, and will cover both Ballycroy and Connemara National Parks. Staff are required to work 39 hours per week, rostered five days over seven which may include weekends and bank holidays.
The rate of remuneration may be adjusted from time to time in line with Government pay policy. A different rate will apply where the appointee is a civil or public servant recruited before 6th April 1995, and who is not required to make a Personal Pension Contribution. An appointee will be chosen by competitive interview. A panel of suitable candidates may also be formed should any additional vacancies arise in the foreseeable future.
