Minister Madigan congratulates Martin McDonagh on receiving BAFTA Awards for Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri
The Minister for Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht, Josepha Madigan TD, has today congratulated Martin McDonagh on receiving BAFTA awards for Original Screenplay, Best Film and Outstanding British Film for Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri. The announcements were made at a ceremony hosted by Joanna Lumley at the Royal Albert Hall in London on Sunday, 18th February 2018.
Speaking today, Minister Madigan said:
“It’s great to see Irish talent being represented at this year’s BAFTA awards. I am delighted to see the Irish Film Industry building on its success from year to year. With such an achievement comes richly deserved international recognition, nominations and awards. Each year the BAFTAs bring to our attention the best of talent across film, games and television.”
