Minister of State McHugh sanctions a grant of €50,050 for Gleann Ghaoth Beara Community Development, Co. Donegal, to help resurface the pitch and place a fence around it
Joe McHugh T.D., Government Chief Whip and Minister of State for the Irish Language, the Gaeltacht and the Islands, today announced that he has sanctioned a grant of €50,050 for Forbairt Pobail Ghleann Ghaoth Beara to assist them in resurfacing the pitch and to put a fence around it. Making the announcement, the Minister of State said that he was very pleased to provide this funding.
Announcing the grant, the Minister of State said, “This development will really help the local community as Forbairt Pobail Ghleann Ghaoth Beara is providing a very safe facility for people of all ages.”
This grant is being sanctioned under the Gaeltacht action of the 20-Year Strategy for the Irish Language 2010-2030.
